First Birthday Present
Samuel's Uncle Sean, who lives in Kuwait, sent Samuel his first birthday present this year. It was a basketall hoop and Samuel was so excited. THANK YOU UNCLE SEAN!

Camp Summer Oaks Day 11-1-11
The City of Southlake issued a Proclamation to my family for our Summer Science Camp for kids. November 1st is now Camp Summer Oaks Day! Although I have not taught at camp since buying the newspaper, I am extremely proud of my mom and sister for keeping it going for 25 years. It is my family's legacy and it means somuch for the city to show appreciation for all the children's lives my mom and sister have touched.

Happy Halloween 2011!
We kinda like getting dressed up for Halloween.. this year we went with a Farm Theme. Mariah was a barn cat, Hugh was a bull, Samuel was a cow, Monica was a pig, Owen was a pumpkin, Mike was a scarecrow and I was a farmer. We had a BLAST!
Ariel (our neighbor Peyton) joined us for trick-or-treating too.
The Wandeing Welsh Wagon. Mike strapped Owen's carseat (base and all) into the wagon and we pulled him around with us.
Owen alomost made it to the end... whaa trooper.. and cute pumpkin.

Apparently, when Mike was little he used to lay down next to his Halloween candy and get his picture taken.. hence, why Samuel is doing the same.
Bobby's 90th Birthday Party
Dear, Sweet Bobby turned 90 on October 25th.. AMAZING! We had a little party for her at the nursing home. She was so surprised and grateful.

The shirts say it all...Although, Owen looks like he's trying to poop. Ha He's just trying to sit up.
Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch- 10-30-11
By far the best Pumpkin Patch around.. $5 to park and everything else is free.. hayrides, train rides, bouncy houses, mazes. AWESOME! Samuel LOVED it!
