Not only did Samuel turn 6 months old today, but he also got his helmet. It's actually called a DOC Band but I think it looks like a helmet so that's what I call it. I think he looks like a boxer and Mike thinks he looks like a Storm Trooper from Star Wars. ha ha It's not so bad I guess. I have to admit I cried all morning while he was getting it though. Oh well, I'm a Mom I can do that!! He should only have to wear it for 4-6 weeks. He doesn't mind it at all.. so far. He has to start wearing it 23 hours a day on Saturday. We'll see how that goes. We're going to decorate it with some stickers for fun. Mike says we should write "What are you staring at?" on the front. hahaha I think we'll settle on something a little bit nicer. ;)May 7, 2009

Hi Mike, Tara and Samuel! :) YES - you do have the right to cry....but hopefully it won't be too bad and Samuel (and Mom too) will be okay with it. It doesn't look bad at all and hopefully it isn;t uncomfortable. He's a beautiful baby boy!!! LOVE, Carol and Steve :)
