Happy, Happy First Birthday Samuel!

Birthday Breakfast.

Samuel woke up at 6:15 (waayyyy too early for his mama and daddy) so he got an early start on his breakfast. It turned out to be a good thing because we were planning on doing a Fun Run for the Colleyville Library. A tradition we would like to start with Samuel for his birthday.

It was chilly this morning but the hat was more to keep his ears from hurting because he has his first ear infection. ;(

He kept in on for about 30 seconds. Not too bad for a one-year-old.

First Birthday Cake!

Samuel didn't waste any time digging into his first birthday cake. We got him a mini cupcake with frosting that turned out to be the perfect size for him.

Total Bliss!

He ended up wearing a good portion of it but he really enjoyed eating it as well. He was tired so he started rubbing his eyes which turned into the perfect picture opportunity.

Samuel is pulling himself up on everything... I mean everything. This toy will be a lot of fun for him to pull himself up and practice walking.

When I think back at what we were going through just one year ago I am amazed at how far Samuel has come. He is truly our miracle in so many ways and we are so happy to be able to share him and his smile with you and this world. Love to you all!
