Owen's Baptism 7-9-11

 God Parents: Desiree and Sam
On this very special day our little Owen was baptized. He wore the same Christening gown that Samuel wore which was handmade by their Great Aunt Didi from South Carolina... Thank you Didi!!! She also made bonnets for each of the boys special days. From the moment the first Hymn began until we stood up to sing the last one Owen slept. Even through the baptism...he barely moved and kept his eyes closed the entire time. Now, if you could just sleep like that at home Mommy would really appreciate it.

Mama and Samuel at swimming lessons. We don't have to go in the pool with him for lessons anymore. He sits on the steps with the other kids and does a pretty good job at listening. ;)

Our Little Matcher

Samuel's newest obsession is matching everything by color. I have a basket of fruit, Kashi, etc bars and he loves to sort them. We find little piles all over the house. He usually assigns us a color, too.

Like I said he matches EVERYTHING! I love that there is a little person mixed in with all his cars. And all in a row of course.
Maybe this is a sign he has too many toys.
I often think.... "Is this someting he's going to need therapy for." .;) With me as his mom, he's already destined for therapy.. whats' one more thing.

Sweet, Sweet Bobby

We love visiting Bobby. She is so precious to us and loves seeing the boys. Samuel ran down the hall looking for her room and fell right on his face in front of her door. It was pretty funny actually. She said "I wondered who that little boy was that fell in front of my door." When she saw Samuel she said "Hello Darlin!" Samuel said back to her "Hello Darlin!"
Samuel always brings toys to show her and we always take her for a walk around the building. Samuel usually sits in her lap but this time he wanted to push her. He kept saying "This is hard work!" Bobby would say "I know it is. Bobby's had too many treats."
We stayed and had lunch with her and her friends. At one point Samuel said "I fart." We all had a really good laugh.

Brothers...

Owen 3 1/2 months old. Samuel 2 1/2 years old.
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this picture.

Samuelism 7-18-11

On the way to my parent's house I was explaining to Samuel that Papa was mommy's daddy.

Samuel said "I love mama's daddy! And Papa too!"

So sweet. We've always called my parents Grandma and Grandpa. But one day Samuel started calling Grandpa, Papa so that's what we call him now.

Samuelism 7-19-11

Tonight I told Samuel I had made something special for dinner.

He said "Ice Cream?!"

Then later Mike said "Time to eat Samuel. Mama made something special for dinner."

He said "French Fries?!"

Unfortunately, it was just boring beef stew.

"I make pile Mommy."
Samuel likes to line up his toys and make piles. Owen you are such a good sport.

Snap, Crackle, Pop

If you look closely you can see Samuel has his foot wrapped in an Ace bandage like his daddy. Mike broke his foot doing a somersault while playing with the kids. He now knows he's too old to act like that. ;)
Cool shades little dude.
